And to answer some of your questions/statements before you ask...

"Why can't I criticise someone for being religious?"

You can joke and discuss all you like. Just don't openly attack someone's religion. We have people on this forum from all religions and most can take a joke. So go for it. But don't openly abuse them for who they are.

"Why can't I call someone a p**fter?"

Again, jokes are fine. But keep in mind that we have gay people on this forum, and we live in a country where homosexuality is accepted. So while humour is acceptable, blatant homophobia is not.

Example of something that's acceptable :

"what do you call a lesbian with fat fingers? Well hung"

Example of what's not acceptable:

"being gay is not normal and they should all be killed"

"Why can't I threaten to kill someone?"

Some of the people on this forums have lives. It's only fair to those people that we don't suggest the removal of their lives.

"User X called me an idiot, ban him for life!"

No. You're a grown adult, and more importantly, you're a Bulldog. Act like it
Agree on the religious rule. It's best to keep that out if discussions.

What! There are gay people on the kennel? Again as long as they are happy. They don't throw it in people's faces so no reason to get into such discussions. It's the renters that need a tune up.

I don't think people shod get so fired up on here threatening violence. I don't mind a little jousting and we should all have a bit of thick skin and roll with the punches a little but there is no room for targeting specific people or threatening violence.

For instance if I threw a BBQ, (id cater properly) and invite all from the kennel, I enjoy talking to people that disagree with me as much as I do those that agree, as long as we can be respectful we can all eat.

Same for the name calling, we don't need to be specific in our comments, say your piece but don't call out people I say.

The kennel is a fun place, say your bit, be heard and just get on with things.

I'll go to the BBQ on the provision that you provide a quality catering company. So... which company are we using Boosty?

All this talk about threats of violence.

I can only think of 1 poster who has done that to me.

On more than one occasion.

I think threats of violence should be instant perm ban,
No questions asked.

And it should be public knowledge so people can be educated who to interact with and not.

When mods can't discuss topics maturely with members of the kennel without trying to discredit a person's character Then no wonder this site is dying.

Mods aren't above reproach. If you have an issue, report it. If a mod has stepped over the line then they will be called up for it.
