Mate, you say some really incisive stuff sometimes, but this isn't one of those times. Brittain is not the answer.

He doesn't have to be the answer though... People get cut here when someone mentions a player to sign lol, in this case Billy would have been the best short term hooker we could have signed. Just my opinion but I don't think you can win a title with Katoa or JMK at hooker, games changed to much and you need a specialist

It was like watching a Hasler coached side at its worst when Lewis had the reigns at first receiver for the first half... Couple that with the shitty stream and commentators cutting in and out, it was the hardest game of footy I've had to sit through since 2017 lol

No actually you are being a smart arse with out knowing anything.. your man Lewis was garbage as per usual, gave the team zero direction, wasn't until Wakeham came on did we actually do something... And it doesn't matter if it was only a trial, there was a lot to take out of this, especially that Lewis isn't a half... Just more of the same tripe he dished up last year.. ohh and he missed 2 one on one tackles that lead straight to tries..

Lewis and Cogger were both unimpressive. Especially Lewis, his defence was shocking today.

Wakeham was solid, but did not do anything that spectacular in my opinion.

I thought sione Katoa and Kerrod Holland did well at hooker.

Dwz, chn and Smith were pretty impressive in the other game. Hopefully dwz is good for round one.

Our forwards still ger the ball before halves as usual

I know its a trial and early days but looks like nothing has changed whatsoever. Sharks reserve grade teams attack looks 100 times better than ours

Which players have you noticed this half for good reasons? I'm going with Britt (reckon some of his tackles stung), Harper (good with the ball in hand), and Katoa (nice service, always looking for an opportunity)

The 1, 2 from prison and sancho on the cogger bandwagon.

Who disappointed me:
Reimis (as a centre)
Lewis - same boring, predicable play
Bailey odo - this kid has some real raw talent and speed to burn but I think he just tried too hard to have an impact in limited minutes
Tolman - still taking that 4th tackle settler
Stimson - I was excited about his signing far more than Britt's but he has really looked unfit and disappointing.
