So a friend of mine who I used to work with recently became a councillor.

I got in contact asking if he would accept me for a session?

He said its all good so I booked an appointment to see him next week.

He is a good man, out Liverpool way.
He does a lot of work in Islamic community and helps guide troubled youth onto a positive pathway!

I'm sure he can guide me!

For sure my friend.

I will let you know how things go.
I knew this guy before he was a councillor so I know he isn't a fruitcake!

He isn't even in his 40's yet and already highly respected by most people.
He is a humble and down to Earth man.

Going to use these opportunities to get him to invite me to his aunts house for a bbq.

One time he brought some of her food to work and gave me his leftovers!

His aunt makes the best Adana shish kebabs in all of Australia!

Yeah it’s still crushing.
I almost feel resentful that the world continues to turn and things continue to happen. Weird that it feels unjust.
Just had his sons 8 th birthday. I took him and my Son out for a game of bowling. Kind of hollow but we tried.
He Left behind 4 young kids who are now starting to realise he will be missing it all from now on.
Those paragraphs about his kids were heartbreaking. Really hit home.
Good on you mate for taking his son out for his birthday, like you said- you tried to do something nice for the youngster, that is all you can do in circumstances like this.

Hi Kennelers

I just thought with all the negative things that are going on in the world..it’s nice to see something positive that has the potential to change millions of people lives for the better. This includes sufferers of MS, Alzheimers, and of course Spinal Cord injuries. Additionally it may even be effective if you damage a nerve in your arm, hand or fingers, it’s potential is amazing.

As the below link to the article explains, the technology was developed by Dr. Jerry Silver, now patented by NervGen Pharma, a research scientist, who has spent 30 years looking for the way to unlock the mystery of regeneration of nerves in a damaged spinal cord. He was part of the the well known Miami project, which was associated with the late Superman actor Christopher Reeve, to find a cure for spinal cord injury. Sliver would go on to win the prestigious Christopher Reeve Medal for his tireless work towards an elusive cure. Dr Silver is also a nice guy to boot, as evident by the time he took to correspond with me. Actually he got me in touch with the chairman of NervGen Pharma, Bill Radvak, and he too was as helpful and approachable as Jerry. They were both really positive, but they were also very realistic, in terms of the potential of their peptide. (Yes it’s a peptide..sorry Sharks I’m still staying with the Doggies!)

If you have time, please check out the article, as some of you may know someone with nerve damage, or nerve degeneration. One more thing..never give up hope..whatever those problems may be.. brighter days are ahead..just gotta hang in there.

Mate this would be brilliant.

Strangely I have faith in science.
I get the feeling it will save most of us at some point- if it hasn’t already.

It’s great that it could potentially help people across the board.. I’d love to see someone awoken from Alzheimer..or prevented from getting it.. And to fix a person who has MS.. Yes Science has the potential to do great things..unfortunately sometimes it goes the other way..

How you going bud?

Some horrible news has come to light. I was told this morning by a close friend.

A close friend of mine back in the day has passed away. His body was found in a creek by police 2 days ago. I haven't seen him for years, because of I settled and with family commitments and I feel so much guilt I never made effort to see him or message.

Now he is gone, take from us. His death as of now sounds and seems very suspicious.

I'm guttered, shattered.

Rest in peace Rob, my young brother.

You left us too soon.

Heart broken.
How horrible ,especially when it's unexpected. My condolences to you and may your friend rest in peace

The way I see it is it's just a little part of the jigsaw puzzle but when it's found BOOM what a difference it's going to make.. Everything will just fall into place.. It's going to be like why didn't we think of that sooner I don't know , but that's how things happen with me when I finally get a solution to something.. Keep up the good work you're inspiring us all ( I'm sure) with your attitude.

How’s the eyes? Haven’t heard from u for while.
Hi mate, I am doing OK. My vision has been poor , caused by the nerves in back of my eyes deteriorating. I am unable to look at computer screens for a period of time. How have you been mate?

Hey brother good to read your posts again.

One of my cardiologists once told me "if you're going through hell, keep going".

So true mate.
Life is like a hundred metre hurdle race but they keep extending the race.

Nothing seems to have changed on here
