The 2020 type R Honda Civic seems like a real fun car. I've driven one but only on a short dealership test drive. The dealer said to me if would whip anything on the road.

It seems to handle really well and other than off the line seems to have very decent pull from its turbo engine. I've seen a few YouTube clips of them roll racing and whipping plenty of cars

Would it whip you?is the Honda Civic type R at the top echelon of performance cars or just another hot hatch.

Watch the video, could you car do that?

Of course the dealer will say its the fastest thing on earth. But yeh they go alright, pretty good.

Im into bigger / muscle cars though. I have an XR6 now, and if i had to change it would be something like a Camaro. Yeh im a Ford man all my life, but now there are no aussie cars, i prefer camaros over mustangs in the new models.

I'll just ask them are they sick of my tail lights yet?

Because that's all they'll see.

For the hot hatch category. Id say that amd the Hyundai i30N are definitely class leaders by a country mile.

This thread confirms Blue_boost is indeed a Lebo.

Only a Leb would hold a civic in such high regard!

I once witnessed the fastest VL on the east coast become a lemon in 3.4 seconds!
It was sad to see.
But probably heart breaking for the owner?

Someone's been watching Fast Five :D

I have only seen the one with Eva Mendez in it and the SS Chevelle.

Hate the fake hard **** Vin Deeza. Also hate rice mobiles that are nothing but body kits and childish graphics and shit.

OBVIOUSLY except the Nismo GTR Godzilla

What beat it?
There were plenty of beasts in that YouTube clip, was never really a fan of the look of VL's though, preferred VB, VC and VK style.

Also, wonder why lots of those VL's in the video seemed to have 1 bung headlight? Strange.

This thing was that powerful, he revved the shit out of the engine to warm it up and it went BOOM and there were screws and bits of debris all over the circuit!.

The announcer at the dragway stated it was the fastest VL in Australia.
So since the guy has more money than brains we never got to see it get a time this particular evening.

I was pissed off about ot as I was working and its always great to get paid to watch something like that.

More air flow through the headlight gap.

PS VE and VK are my favourite models, in that order.

VF, VT, VX and the latest abortion are the worst looking Commos.

Thanks for the info mate. I thought there was some weird thieving prick stealing all the headlights! Like the Underpants Gnomes lol
Were VE's produced before VK's? Will have to google one to see what the shape looked like.

There weren't any VE commodores in the 80's.

First model commodore was the VB.
I'm sure the 80s models were VB,VC,VH,VK,VL and the first VN series?

My dad owned a VB was a very reliable car.
If he didn't write it off it would still be around today!
