Heard from a reliable source that we had an closed opposed session at Belmore against the Tigers last week. The ground wasn't in great condition as it has just recently been top dressed. Appears maybe RFM gave his ankle a tweak as he was limping noticeably. No follow up news, so it may have been just a mild sprain. Opposed sessions are good for working on attack and defensive structures, plus it's a much welcomed relief for the players to get away from the endless flog of preseason training.

It all depends on what teams are named though. We had the 2 trials in 2018 and very few NRL players played in one game.

I’m not defending anyone and I thought one trial was weird too, I just didn’t carry on about it. The constant whingeing on here is embarrassing
