I don’t remember him being that quick! He had pace but he is flying in some of those clips.
Oh he was a champion fullback the old Mr General
What a fantastic player with excellent vision & his ability to read plays was so impressive
The guy was very fast, you must have forgot lol
Luke trains at my local gym and still looks like he could lace on the boots
Salute to a true club man.

We didn't realise at the time... as much as we should have :grinning: Pace and a great finisher.

I’ve seen fewer more reliable fullbacks than The General. Legend.

I remember being more excited about Brett Howland in 2001 because he could absolutely fly but he ended up being a dud.
I still think we would have gone close to winning the comp that year if we didn't get injuries at the wrong time of year.

Quality player. I remember a number of highlights.
One low-light I remember was being at the 2009 GF qualifier against the Eels - I was really confident we'd win that but when the General got injured early on it really dented our momentum and we ended up losing it.
Thankfully the Storm took care of the Eels in the GF :-)
I bet the Dragons regretted letting him go.
Is he still a video ref?

Yup we all loved the general, very loyal and such a player we could rely on. And he has some pace indeed. Our best fullback next to barba, but then again pattern never let our team down, what a fantastic guy :grinning:

I don't think so, I don't recall seeing him in the bunker last year.

Arguably the best player of his era not to play origin

Definitely.. there were so many quality fullbacks during his playing career but he would not have looked out of place, that's for sure... mr reliable
