Just spoke to Foran. Says he’s happy with rehab. Aiming for comeback Round 14 or 15 is the public message at least.

Spoke to Jacko - hoping to announce a new deal before Christmas. Says they’re happy for 2 trials in 2020 to ‘get the minutes and momentum up so we get a good start from Round 1 and we don’t miss the start again like the last 2 years’.

Hilly:

No major sponsor as yet, but several active conversations. Says they are not prepared to give it away - ‘it’s easy to put something on our jersey, but we place a value on our brand and there’s a level we’re not prepared to go below’. Translation: a minimum amount is required to run the club and some companies are not prepared to / can’t pay what the club wants - Hilly: ‘Reflective of the current retail environment in Australia’.

A WA mining company is likely to come onboard as a sponsor - some focus on WA with the 9’s, home game in Perth etc (no we are not relocating)...

I’d agree it’s not huge but sitting in the stadium vs the leagues club it felt more spaced out. Plus 6pm on a weeknight isn’t the easiest for all and 2 weeks before Christmas. Not excuses, just realities.
