I didn't buy a tv. I donated $1000 to a gofundme page my friend set up to help support the tireless efforts of al my mates that volunteered to fight the bushfires threatening our homes. This helped buy them food, water, diesel, plumping suplies, masks and anything else they needed.

I’ve been banging on for years about how desperately Australia seems to want to be the 51st state of the US at the expense of losing our own identity. It’s really sad to see. I won’t be surprised when we also decide to say fuck it, let’s just celebrate Thanksgiving too. In fact, I’ve noticed in local papers and websites this year lots of Thanksgiving recipes appearing so that might be the start of it.

When my cousin was a toddler he spoke with an American accent because my aunt let him watch too much American t.v shows.

It's crazy... I hardly follow or subscribe to anything, and generally spam the companies I have purchased from... but my inbox was still bombarded...

Oh bro I wouldn't even know what the new technologies and fads are tbh... I get what I need for work and outside of work I try to avoid all forms of technology and live life how it was intended.... not staring at selfies, inspirational quotes and cat memes

haha true.. same here.. modern tech isn't all bad, just needs to be used in moderation, and for good purposes.. we have most of the world's information in our fingertips, yet most people are getting dumber.... it doesn't make sense lol
