So basically what they are saying is it will be the exact same thing so instead of having the leader board having 38 points it will be 76 points and the team that comes last instead of 12 points they will have 24 points.

yeah but then those games are worth 3 comp points. Every game must be played for the same amount of points otherwise it’s uneven. Can’t have 3 points for each win as how do the points get split for a draw? So that means I will need to be 4 points for a win lol.

If they’re going to change it at all, I’d like to see an NHL system:

Golden try in normal season

2 for any win
1 for a GT loss
0 for a normal loss

I don't know what was wrong with the system that we had 20 years ago.

• 80 minutes during the regular season is a draw - 1 point each team
• During the finals, 20 minutes of EXTRA TIME (not golden point) is played over 2 halves, 10 minutes each
• If and only if there is still no winner after 100 minutes, then sudden death rules apply (please don't ever refer to it as golden point again... that's beyond shit)
• The extra time/sudden death rule also applies to SoO as Origin MUST HAVE a winner after every game.
