He's delusional.

I hate to say it but I see this scenario happening with Victor Radley. The way he plays he'll end busted as this at 30.

If he was a soldier he would be priceless. Problem is he's a footy player taking up 1.2 mil of a teams salary cap and is lucky to play 50% of the games. I always credited you for Manly's success more than that DCE fella and love your style of play. Problem is your done mate, you're kidding yourself that you have any more footy left in you and that's something you need to come to terms with. You need to do what's right for the club that looked after you and you need to call it a day! You are crossing into selfish **** territory now and that will be your legacy with us.

Dean Pay won't re-sign him. He came in with Hasler as a coach and Pay didn't have a say. Now given that he was on $1,000,000 per year, Pay would be stupid not to use him. However as he won't be under contract (once it expires) Pay won't go with him. Foran just better hope than no good five-eighth has a breakthrough year with us.

He'll either end up at Manly (given how delusional Des Hasler is) or ESL.

still have to question how those that signed foran never had and performance or minimum game clauses in his contract, buying damaged goods without and clauses makes no sense

[YeaQUOTE="Spoonman84, post: 3648804, member: 20132"]I’d be surprised if he even had one....[/QUOTE]
Yeah Dr Des gave him the all clear,
It really was amateur hour under Castle and her crew
Million dollar contract to a broken down player and back ending
Placed us in a terrible position for the last 5 years
Just unbelievable to be honest

He physically can't roll over because then he'd require another shoulder reconstruction.

Best years are still ahead of him? You mean best years of rehabbing more injuries and having even more surgeries? Sounds like fun! Good luck with that!

Never has there been a more physically broken player that just can't accept reality. The only people that profit from Foran playing on are the surgeons that will keep trying to put him back together again.
And duck tape manufacturers

I am a Kieron Foran fan BUT it's beyond ridiculous that he still thinks that he is capable of playing on in the NRL. With the number of injuries and recurring injuries he has had surely there are medical professionals who are not only advising but of the professional opinion that he should no longer be playing professional sport. Kierons at a point here he'd get injured playing chess and so the club and admin should now be playing hardball and letting him know that while it's up to him to retire or not, there is NO place for him in the 30 man squad and drop him making him available for reserve grade only.

Tough or stupid ? Says he is willing to play until he is rolled out in a wheelchair. name him round one. Let him play with the shoulder sling on and see how that goes.
His comment says a lot.

Wheelchair? Mate this is a billion dollar sports entertainment industry. Start acting like a professional and not a precious entitled has been.

Go out with some class and dignity befitting your career at Manly and as a NZ international.

After Manly you let those other 3 clubs down unfortunately (Parra, Warriors and Bulldogs) because you couldnt fullfil your implied contract. Yes technically you did, but, better and world class athletes than you, have had to realise it's time in everyone's best interests to make way for the next lot of aspiring athletes to get an opportunity and that the body is not performing to the required standards.

Whether its by money available to pay them in a salary cap or simply a place in the squad.

Hope he doesn't end up a scapegoat, or blamed, for our roster woes but looks like he'll be joining Dib/Des/Castle.

I liked him until now. He has taken so much from the Club and given (not intentionally) so little in return. Call Crime Stoppers! It's officially a robbery.

The ****’s been semi retired for the last 4yrs
Next year included, Foran would miss approximate total of 70 games in the past four years. That is nearly three full seasons not working but getting paid. And he wants to play on. What a joke!

Surely insurance companies look at this and say he is too much of a risk to insure? I think he has used all his no claim bonus don't you think? lol
