I'm really wanting to build myself a Wood Fired Pizza Oven. Been toying with the idea for a while, and not keen on paying the high $$ they have on them.

Will be able to do all kinds of nice wood style cooking in it.
Buy a kamado.
Similar principle only Less room, Less weight, Less fuel required, easier to get going and more versatile.

That's my issue is the room. When I have a cook up its usually for at least 20 odd people.

Want to get a decent offset smoker, fairly expensive for what I am looking at though. Size wise.

Mate buying in bulk is the way to go, you save much more money that way.

Cut them up and freezer it. Defrost steaks actually still taste fresh.

There is a meat joint in Waterloo area the meat emporium, I've been meaning to go but just haven't found the time.
Vacuum sealed in the freezer, and you’d never know it was frozen.
There’s a place in Taren point, the meat store, that’s very good.

Yea, get a kamado.
Barbecues galore has good deals on the old kamado joes.

Yep. heat guns can get your charcoal started in a pinch.
I use a coal chimney by itself. Just walk away and come back when it's good to go. Works great. But a a heat gun works great too if I'm in a rush.
