Pretty funny read that.

Still no actual news on the results of exploratory surgery, a return date and whether the club will be applying for the 350k compensation

Quality. ‘Dogs might get Foran’s contract value waived provided, per NRL rules, they can prove the deal was hasty and regrettable’. Funny stuff.

Keiran will become the subject of more of these type articles. Imagine what the Professor and the Hindy and Fletch skits will do with it.

I wish he'd realise it's time to collect next years money and turn his hand to coaching while he can still walk.

Sorry, but that nothing tackle he got injured was the final straw for me. There's no way he can be serious about coming back.

And this

The embattled five-eighth has been sidelined for six months after sustaining a dislocated shoulder, the latest in a string of injuries that has seen his weary body touted for the remake of Weekend at Bernie’s."

When is enough, enough?

Foran has played 26 out of 52 games for the dogs

When from the club albeit the coach or straight up the chain such as a director pull the bloke aside and give him the hard truth and tell him he is damaged goods?

He should be told if / when he comes back from injury that he will be playing park footy. He should be placed behind cogger, wakeham and Lewis.

Cut your fukn losses it was a desperation act to sign him anyway from previous management. New management need to grow a pair.

This is why the clubs like souths, roosters and even Broncos remain agile.

Well at least there is one person in this world who believes that Foran will make a comeback and provide a worthwhile input for the club...unfortunately the man himself doesn't really count when it comes to positivity.

It’s rather sad, his footy career has suffered Although he always tried his hardest to keep going, by the time we finally got Fozzy it was all but over. Time for him to just focus on his body an health and hang up the boots..!!

a role within the club would suit. Be better for him to do that than fully walking away.

FMD, he's trying his guts out but it's never gonna work and he's delusional if he thinks it will.

In the end he's not doing himself, or us, any favours.

Problem with Foran, he believes he can play until he’s 35 like Thurston and Cronk.

Yes, there is such thing as fair trading in rugby league. Unless the club wants to get sued I'd suggest any officials stay out of it and let Sue tell him.

Not sure how it works but wouldn't it be more beneficial for him to medically retire is there not some form off compensation he would receive rather than just the remainder of his contract, I can't see any club offering him a contract next year

He just needs to be paid out for the remainder of his contract and probably offered a coaching role (for example Halves coach). Foran mentally isn't finished playing so he's not going to give up.
