Oh please do not sign this guy.i think he is so overrated it’s not funny.do we really want a player just coming for the money.he came out last year and said he hated us cause we knocked him back as a junior.Just chill out a bit and don’t take every article so seriously. It’s all about getting the player at the best price and why would they give the highest offer first? I doubt they have the money figures right anyway. When the board is voted for it’s impossible to sack them anyway.
Looks like that's the body of Rhyse MartinHow good does he look in the blue and white?
Im sure they were.. but they publicly admit they started talking to him as soon as he left..Sorry mate the Rotters were talking to $BW long before he walked
LATRELL ATTITUDE A PROBLEM FOR ROOSTERSBuzz tweeted about Latrell and added a link to the tele anyone able to post here
Roosters are apparently going to offer Mitchell 800K a season which is probably more than they're paying Manu. They want to keep Mitchell and feel they made a decent offer but feel disappointed in his loyalty that he wants even more. They think he's being influenced by his family to want more and basically he's being selfish. They can't afford to keep Mitchell at 1M same as they couldn't afford to keep JWH, Friend, etc if a club offered them 1M each. They had to let Ferguson go for the same reason last year. Just like we had to let go of players in the past because they received massive offers from other clubs we couldn't afford to match (eg Roy Asotasi, Steve Price, Jamal Idriss, etc)Sure thing?
You're off your bonkers if you think those 2 forwards are worth more than your "500-600ish"
At $1m dollars Latrell will be just another big name dud signing along with the likes of Tony Williams, Aaron Woods and Kieran Foran.
If Roosters thought Mitchell was worth 1m they would of forked it out, just like they did with Tedesco and Cronk.
Roosters re-signing Manu before Nov 1, shows you that Manu is regarded higher than Mitchell, and rightly so
There’s going to be a Big Papi style airing of dirty laundry if Latrell leaves the Chooks for sure....LATRELL ATTITUDE A PROBLEM FOR ROOSTERS
Not long after the full-time siren in the Sydney Roosters’ grand final win over the Canberra Raiders, Channel 9’s sideline commentator Brad Fittler tried to interview Latrell Mitchell.
He declined, still apparently dirty about his axing from the NSW State of Origin team after the Blues lost the opening game of the series at Suncorp Stadium. Mitchell insists no one has properly explained to him why he was sacked. The stand-off would indicate Mitchell is unlikely to play Origin for NSW while Fittler is coaching.
Either he’ll make himself unavailable or Freddy won’t pick him.
The Roosters star appears to be suffering from an attitude of self-entitlement. A bit like Anthony Mundine in the early days at the Dragons in the ’90s. A siege mentality.
He is not the first player to be dropped from rep football and won’t be the last.
This brashness is a concern for the Sydney Roosters. While in this frame of mind it would be no surprise if the club offered Mitchell an immediate release from the final year of his contract if the Kangaroos centre signs with the Canterbury Bulldogs, like many expect he will.
The Roosters see no point in him hanging around.
Stories have emerged in recent days about his secret meeting at the home of George Coorey, chairman of the Canterbury Leagues Club.
So secret that even Latrell’s manager Wade Rushton was not invited but another agent was. Nor was Bulldogs CEO Andrew Hill or coach Dean Pay at the meeting.
Latrell apparently feels unloved at the Roosters.
He doesn’t feel their offer of $800,000-a-year is enough, although it would make him the highest paid centre in the competition. While he threw the pass to set up the matchwinning grand final try, his form last season was probably about a seven out of 10. Average to good most weeks.
The other issue is the prestigious World Club Challenge on February 22.
It again clashes with the Indigenous All Stars. This is a touchy subject. The Roosters fully support and encourage his passion and commitment to indigenous causes.
At the same time they would prefer him to play against St Helens in February because he played the All Stars this year. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
I am worried about that too mate. There’s going to be a Big Papi style airing of dirty laundry if Latrell leaves the Chooks for sure....
I fucking love it! They are trying to tarnish the boy... He even says it 'siege mentality' that's where us dogs thrive! Everyone fucking slings shit on us, Latrell will be a great fit for usLATRELL ATTITUDE A PROBLEM FOR ROOSTERS
