The kid oozes talent and x-factor. People forget he’s still so young. That’s where the inconsistency comes from. He comes up with the big plays in big games. This year people say his form was down. Still dominated games. Came up with a big play in the GF winning try.

Lets be fair dinkum here.

Roosters go back 2 back thanks to Tedesco, Keary & Cronk. Roosters win the comp with or without Mitchell.

They won the comp with Minichello, Pearce and Maloney.

Spine wins you the comp and not a one million dollar centre.

You're off your head if you would choose Mitchell over Munster in the 1 million price range

Mitchell got dropped from Origin and the Blues won the series without him, once again thanks to the spine.

You dont have to be a rocket scientist or a bright *****, but just looking at the "raw facts" over the last 5 or so years, have a look at the spine from the premiers.

Roosters fans can also lick Politis' asshole for nabbing Cronk, because without him the Roosters dont win 2 on the trot without his 10+ years of knowing Melbournes game plan.

Wake up son!
Spine may have got them there but the 'strike' centre Jennings sealed the game with his try

I just hope that our people responsible for recruiting aren't living in fantasy land, or just trying to shore up their position for the next board elections.
I recall very clearly the signing of Foran and Woods prior to the last elections.

Hayne not a footballer?? :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

At his peak his anticipation and vision was ridiculous, the fuck he wasn't footballer.
Hayne was about 25% footballer, and 75% athlete. His greatest asset was his speed.

We heard a few times earlier this year that the club intended to buy a marquee type player who will attract others to the club.
If Mitchell comes as the marquee player will any other players want to come play with him?
Will he be a selling point to other players, particularly indigenous players?
I would think so, particularly with Mitchell's stance against online racism through out the year.
If he stays at left centre it strengthens one of our most weak positions, if he gets early ball he'll make the players around him better too.
David Fafita, Tristan Sailor, Ryan James, Mundine Jnr, Kotoni Staggs, Cody Walker, Alex Johnstone, Jayden Sullivan are some of the off contract and up and coming indigenous talent who are off contract now or 2021.

Only Ponga or Watson would be worth taking from the knights.

Pearce is getting on.

Don’t mind Fitzgibbon but far better to go after.
There was talk at one stage that we might chase Ponga I remember. Wouldn't it be grand if we signed Ponga for fullback and Mitchell for centre ?

You're probably one of those people who was rolling out the red carpet for Leilua.

Both sides of the football win grand finals, the Roosters won this year's GF in the first 30 when JWH made the Raiders' pack look like boys

Latrell is one of the few genuine game-breakers in our game, you are rarely going to see a big game in which Latrell doesn't produce in the key moments. That comes with a price tag.... simple as that

Anyone else turned off by Latrell's performance for Aus?
