We will need Pay to get the team to start the season better than they have last 2 years..

Both Pay years started poor and finished strong..

I heard on the radio this afternoon that there will be less Thursday night games
The report mentioned the NRL are hoping for better crowds next year and this was a contributing factor
It’s probably a step in the right direction, another problem in my opinion is the 600 kickoff on a Friday night
Absolute crazy time slot

There will still be the same amount of games on Thursday it just won’t be the big blockbuster games they want them on the weekend to get bigger crowds. I’ll believe it when I see just look at Round 1 they have us playing the Eels on a Thursday!

To be fair, that’s the season opener, so there’ll probably be a larger turnout than regular Thursday games.

That’s fair enough
I think most supporters prefer the weekend games
My main concern for next year is starting well and showing genuine improvement on the footy field

Dont think we have good record vs raiders at home. If theres any home game to sacrifice for magic round, id pick that one.

We get monetary compensation for giving up our home game right?

Yeah I'm pretty it's a decent amount too plus it boosts the crowd average but still losing a home game stings when every win counts.

Just looking quickly

Positives
- Only playing Melbourne, Raiders and Roosters once
- One five day turn around
- Only 2 games out of Sydney in last half

Negatives
- Playing Parra twice in the first 6 weeks (I hate playing teams twice in a short period)
- Round 25 away to Newcastle could be tough if we need a win.
- 3 interstate games in a row in rounds 7-9
