The same people saying we need an organising half, the same ones that rate our current halves.
We have foran, lewis, cogger, wakeham. None of them u would pick for there running game. All 4 organisers. If there lucky.
Our centres are slow, to be nice. One of our halves, and centres is on more money than wighton.
But no we dont need the biggest competitor in the comp. What canterbury was built on.
We need an organising half.
Still no idea ya poor buggers.

I would pick Foran for his running game. I wished when he joined he would of turned more into the Cronk style because of his body but it did not happen.
I am happy with Foran and Lewis with what is on the market and there are also other areas we need to address (Centre, Hooker, Prop and Winger).

I have faith that he will be the halfback we have needed since Sherwin.
There was faith Hetherington would be the hooker we needed, but that seems to have gone now

To the point where Greenberg comes out and endorses them and refutes any claims that they cheat the cap. He sees them as the model other clubs should try and follow.

How dumb does he think we all are? And how oblivious and/or corrupt is he? It's sickening.
So according to the Turd, all 15 clubs need to win premierships then pay their players less for the greater chance of winning premierships?

Every man and his dog can see this Comp needs structural change, yet he does nothing until things blow up.

I honestly couldn't see him as our long term hooker.

But I really think there is some special with Wakeham.

We had the best competitor in the comp in Josh Reynolds... look how he turned out.... competitive doesn't make you a great player... Wighton has a shit short kicking game and an average passing game which in many cases costs the Raiders, and did in the GF. If I were the Raiders, I would be playing two actual halves and putting Jack in the centres where he belongs

Yet while we had said best competitor in the comp in our team we made the Top 8 in 5 out of his 6 seasons including 2 GF appearances. Wouldn’t say it turned out all that bad..

except for the fact that we struggled for points post Barba/ Ennis.. I would not be throwing a mill at a player who throws as many wayward passes and kicks dead as often as Wighton does

I’d say it’s more down the clubs decision to replace 2 good organisers in Hodkinson and Ennis with Mbye and Lichaa. Neither of whom could organise a root in a brothel.

But yeah I’m with you on Wightons value. I don’t consider him to be worth anymore than 750k/season

Foran's body is shot...1 more year and then we need to look at the future

What's annoyed me most about this is how the media have purposefully come out and 'questioned' the Rooster's ability to keep all of their highprofile players, only to demonstrate that it's indeed possible and how they're the blueprint for successful clubs.

It sickens me how there's such open contempt for rugby league in general, but also the fans in that they're openly and clearly rorting the system but now using the media to try to pull the wool over everyone's eyes. The hardest part in all of this are the Bulldog, Melbourne fans who've really paid the price for salary cap cheating and have been forever marked by it. But the Rorters continually get away with it with the backing of the NRL, media, an most high profile ex-players. It's a joke.
I have said it many times before never underestimate the power of the media, Politis has managed to corner it very well through Gyngel and Ch9, but he has also managed to get the support of News LTD, and with it came the support of the NRL Admin.
As for me personally I will always support the Bulldogs I have since 1967, but I now have total contempt for the NRL, the media and the game itself, I can also see many flaws with the on field product.
If we want to be really competitive in the future, we have to look outside the square. I have always found it difficult to convince people to look outside the square during my engineering days.
Politis has set things up very well for his pet team, The Rosters are to well established to ever get caught, and will dominate for ever and a day, all the other clubs can hope for, is to be competitive among themselves.

Spot on Kelpie03. Politis has killed rugby league. Over the next 15 years 3 clubs will dominate GF wins. No surprises who but the top club will be the roosters unless Politis's money and influence ends.

Thanks for your support BlackDawg and Guard Dog, I believe that I have the solution which I believe would work if only I could find a little support, and I mean very little support from both people involved in the game and people willing to risk a a little money which would only amount to peanuts for some.
But as I posted its unfortunate that very few people have the guts to look outside the square.
