Particularly in the case of children.
I would bet that many cases could be solved by clean eating, exercise, and sunlight.. obviously there are more serious cases, but there is no way we should see the rates we do of people taking them

I want it legalised but that is just too way over the top!

I don't want reality to resemble an ice cube movie ffs!
?
I'll be honest this country has a cultural problem. We have to have rules for everything otherwise our people will literally kill themselves.

In Las Vegas there is no RSA, no RCG, drinks are basically free and they will keep em coming until you faint, marijuana is legal and everywhere. but guess what.... No fights, no I'll feeling, no trouble.

I've been to Vegas so many times and even been arrested by 4 police (don't ask). I was given a few ultimatums, :grinning: and 20 mins later I was back out on the loose. But never seen any trouble due to alcohol or drugs, never. (Organised crime a different matter)

In Australia give someone one beer too many and really bad stuff happens.

Australia's culture is sheepish.
We follow what other nations do to conclude how we will live our lives.

Even worse these days especially in the nanny state of NSW!

Get rid of lockouts in the city.
Its too little too late.
The nightlife has been butchered.

Plus not everyone has the money to spend $300+ to go out drinking all night.

For a cheap night out on beers and spirits in Sydney can cost a minimum of $300!

Also I've seen it a thousand times working in the cross back in the day, gold coast etc.

I find that Australians are all tough guys, will dig their heels in, mouth off and get in way over their head. Then when it gets too heavy and there is that "O shit" moment, they start backpedaling, apologising and completely disengage. Sometimes it's too late at this point. It's a cultural thing. It's about showing the trouble makers very early they are overwhelmed.

In Australia we need a presence of security, plenty of rules so everyone keeps their hands and feet to themselves. With no defined rules or instructions, they grow legs and offend, they just can't control their alcohol or drugs. Go to any pub or RSL sports bar and before long the drinkers will start growling at you and puff up their chest to intimidate you

Again, in Vegas there is NO presence of security , no RSA, do whatever you want, but they are watching, no casino has any security that is visible but oh my if you get out of line they come from everywhere .. there is no trouble there, people drink, but they dont start trying to intimidate others

Australia is much more tame then it was 20 years ago though.

Thankfully because of a new watered down generation of millennial pussies!

How ironic that their daddies were the biggest hard ***** with a bit of booze n illicit substances in em.

But their sons are the complete opposite!

To the last 2 posts wrong.

By that theory a little bit of heroin in moderation isn't bad.
Kind of. Heroin is an enhanced version of morphine which is used as a painkiller. We also produce a form of morphine naturally in our bodies.

That said, I wouldn't use the heroin version as a painkiller.

Generally. There's a lot of recent research which uses diet and exercise to treat depression and anxiety and it's really effective. It is a combination of things though. Diet and exercise won't cure you and you'll still be triggered by stress but it reduces the effects drastically. Potentially more than any other medication without the side effects.

Alcohol is a drug and its poison.
But humans are that stupid even if you put a skull and bones with big bold letters saying not for human consumption.
People would still drink.

Ive been rewiring my brain, watched a lot of stuff with some of the worlds top doctors.
They all agree that consuming alcohol has no real positive benefits!

Yep. And psychedelics have been used in trials to treat schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. And they've been found to be very effective.
The only problem is that some people cant handle anything, its their metabolism and they want more ,more ,more and stronger and ive seen first hand it leads to problems for them
I don't think that was xtc my friend
Me either, more like acid!

A couple of beers a day is good for your health, true fact.
The problem with eccies is young people taking more than one within a couple of hours.

My neighbour across the road, he is a example of the watered down tough guys.

He is late teens hasearly 20s, a convertible car that the roof got stuck half way in his driveway. He screams for his mum to come out and fix it. He was screaming at her as he said he had to go. She was doing her best but I don't think she is trained in fixing convertible roof. He is screaming at her to hurry as he paced back and forth.

I was going to walk across the road, hit him with 3 left's and a right. Have some respect for you mother.

oh yeah definitely stress is a major factor and I understand there are people who simply have real issues that are going to cause them trouble no matter what.. but in a lot of cases, mainly children, nutrition will work wonders, when you consider what the average western diet looks like these days.. The side effects of some of the more common medications are too damaging and should be the very last resort... and I know for a lot of GPs now, it's becoming that way... which is a step in the right direction... I remember when I was in my teens you could probably walk in and tell a doctor you had a bad day and they will put you on Loxalate lol.. well not really... but you didn't have to present much of a case

3 jabs and a hook?
You will only need to give him one left and he will go go down.

It isn’t a true fact.
My uncle who was an alcoholic touted this lie to me.

He died prematurely at 52 due to alcohol related illnesses!
Consuming alcohol impairs your judgement and makes you sick!

I’ve never gotten any enlightenment or intelligence out of drunks!
I used to hang out with friends who drank.

If I ever tried to have an interesting conversation or speaking about anything that will give you knowledge and enlightenment.

They would always put me down and say I’m a book of useless information.
Needless to say those pricks aren’t my friends anymore!

I bet the sad ***** still hang out every weekend repeating the same stories from 10 years ago?
Fuck alcohol.
Any drug that alters your mind into a state where you think it’s cool to pick on kids isn’t a good substance!

Yeh, I agree, and I can only comment from my own experience.
If I'm ever going through a stressful period I find going to the gym, eating healthy, getting good sleep at night for weeks and months on end really gives me a massive boost to tackle anything life throws at you

Sorry Bob.
But I disagree that even a couple is no good.

I watched a friend of mine a few days ago sitting there a nervous wreck.

He had the shakes exclaiming he has anxiety and having a beer settles it.

We have leftover beer in our fridge from a bbq a while back.

I offered him a beer, before he could finish he started practically begging me for another beer.

Thats the problem a lot of people have with alcohol.
Once you put a bit of poison into your body, you for some reason crave more?

I especially despise alcohol because the government knows it fucks people up and cripples them.

These evil mafia scumbags work hand in hand with alcohol corporations, making huge profits while destroying peoples lives!

You sound like an absolute buzzkill. I bet your mates weren't overly upset when you stopped turning up to the pub.

Nothing wrong with a few drinks and shit chat.
