Annesley saying he’s fine with it because Cummins calls last tackle 4 times. Lol as if Wighton would of heard him. Worst call. Cost the team a premiership. NRL died tonight. The players didn’t decide the premiership. The refs did. We all knew this would happen eventually.

Sportsbet apparently refunding bets on the Raiders. Wow, this is too fucked-up even for them. Well done nrlol. A new low.
In credits but still, it will add to the situation at hand.

I think the majority of the fans are over the NRL and the referees. Wish there was an Entrepreneur out there to bring on a renegade competition ....

Ricky was absolutely gutted but handled it very well. He is right instead of the media trying to bait him into blowing up how about do your jobs and write about how the reffing needs to be overhauled.

Ricky has blown up plenty of times in the past but it hasn't done anything. Greenturd, Dudtton bros, and Analsley need to be hounded out.

Even if there was talk about a comp getting it’s foundations set ready for start in 2026 or something similar, I’d have some hope for Rugby League. But not even. That’s a killer. NRL here to stay until 2030 at the least

Well they were robbed a try in the first half by a roosters trainer, and then had a try scored against them because ref called 6 again and took it back. Roosters defence may have prevented more tries sure, but maybe raiders get a FG and win 9-8 instead which would have been a fair result.
Raiders had Roosters on the ropes and either a try, or a field goal was coming.. You could feel it

Like Anusy was going to say "Yeh the referees who i selected, made decisions that changed the result of the grand final". Of course hes going to back them up, and that will be the end of it for the NRL. Its the way it always goes. Referees are untouchable. The players and fans pay the price for the referees incompetance, not the refs. I dont see it changing.

This is going to blow up now everyone is talking about the raiders being robbed. The NRL has stuffed the game here games during the year were decided on ref calls this was bound to happen in gf.
The refs have been deciding games all season.
Great game to watch just bet on who the ref likes $$$$

The clubs need to wake up, if they don't hand over control to a properly run body the game is up, literally.

That audio clip doesn't prove shit lmao, why was the player trying to play the ball if apparently they made it clear it was not 6 again at that pace???
It doesn't prove shit because individual ref mics can be mixed at any gain level with compression or whatever other tricks at the disposal of the audio engineer. We can hear the dry/isolated ref mics mixed so to us we here it directly, not out in the open on the paddock with a sold out crowd. Its no wonder Whighton doesn't hear the reversed decision.

This is key. The stuff ups are happening too often. Toddy was on ABC or somewhere being interviewed and someone asked him about the refs. He said something like "what we all want is for a great game and at the end of it no one is talking about the officiating".

It sounded like a pray, with a bit of pleading thrown in. The rate of stuff ups during the season meant it was a big chance of happening in the GF.

Audio is irrelevant anyway we see him waving 6 to go right in front of Wightons face, thats what he went off and all the players that saw it. With 83K ppl at the ground i wouldnt be shocked if they couldnt hear the ref taking it back. Half the players on the field, particularly the ones away from the refs, would play based on whistles and hand signals the refs give only. They wouldnt hear shit. Its obvious by Wightons reactions he didnt hear the reversal

Imagine putting in the hard work starting from the pre-season, through to the gruelling 26 rounds and knockouts... to get to the GF....... only to have one man who shouldn't even be a factor cost you your glory that you worked so hard for.
