There is no way the trainer was placed there because he knew Soliola was going to charge down the kick with his head. Can we cut the conspiracy crap already? The refs applied the rules, the problem here is, at the least, the rule needs to be changed, and at the most, trainers being on the field need to be reviewed.

I am not about the conspiracy theory with this, just shitted that a trainer can be on the field giving instructions to grown men who should be able to play the game without reminders.

It happens every week and yes the rule needs to be changed and like you said a review on the whole situation needs to be conducted.

Just like the game today when the referee stopped it after a Burleigh player had a head wound opened up ..his comment "The trainer has asked for the game to be stopped" . What happened to the bloke being taken off for treatment out the back so the game can continue. Was not life threatening, he was not impeding the progress of the game and simply an accident.Back in the days the game went on but oh no we can't have a team disadvantaged by having a bloke out of the defensive line. We inconvenience the team in possession ..
