Love watching minor teams go at it in the Rugly. Just saw a Japanese player who looks about as Japanese as Winston Churchill strip the ball and run at full speed for the try line. I thought there is no way this guy is going to make it, he runs like Hoppa with his wrists tied to his ankles, but he made it! The chase was even slower!

They only have to live there for 3 years to qualify to play for that country.

gives minno countries a chance to get better players and a chance for players that aren’t good enough to play for the original countries a chance to play internationals

Didn't think they were overly impressive, do think they will win it though.
Well they comfortably beat the only threat in the WC so I'm expecting them to cruise through it.

Interested to see the australia wales game next Sunday, I think we are better than the springboks.
France beating Argentina surprised me also.

Hate to say it but I think you're spot on @ASSASSIN.
England's a real rough chance (with Australia a very very rough chance) but it looks like All Blacks first and daylight second.
They're one classy squad and have been very strong for virtually decades now.

I want the Aussies to lose so badly. I want them to cop it hard and straight directly up the poop hole. I want to Laugh at Raymond Castle once it's all said and done.

If one thing demonstrates how quickly this borefest of a code is dying is that they have to promote their world cup on every single Rugby League show on the Rugby League channel.

Yes, have to admit that the Irish looked extremely good against the Scots though, to be fair, the Scots finished 2nd last in the 6 nations competition so I don't know if much can be made of the Irish win TBH.
I still think it's AB's then daylight second however it would be nice to see an upset.

Ireland are #1 at the moment and with a couple of tough wins vs the All Blacks over the last 2 years they won't be intimidated

Ireland WERE #1 until the AB's beat the Boks (Ireland were #1 for about 2 weeks)....the World Rugby point's system can be a bit of a dog's breakfast at times with the top 3 teams only separated by ~3points.
I do agree that they pose a formidable challenge to the AB's and, as the #2 ranked team, will be tough to beat. England should also be tough (with Wales, Oz, France?- who are always good for an upset) but the AB's are still the benchmark in WC rugby.
Would love to see Oz get up however after Fiji were beaten by Uruguay it's hard to gauge exactly how good the Australian's victory really was over this Fijian squad.
Interesting World Cup for sure.

Oh yeah All Blacks are still the benchmark, but Ireland deserve to be in the same conversation as England and SA.
