No, we got him from the Raiders Harold Matthews when he came to Sydney as a boarder at Newington College. He was outstanding in our U20s. But was told that despite training with our NRL preseason squad he was not NRL standard- thanks to Hasler/Dymock. He left to play rugby 7s with the All Blacks(his dad was an All Black that played RL for the Bears) before getting his chance with the Raiders.
