From memory the tackle that fkd him this year would've stuffed anyone's knee no matter how good it is.

He was playing some decent footy before he got injured.

Would totally depend on the cost whether a good idea or not.

I thought he was regaining his sharkie form before the injury, agree with your( cost?) Worth the risk as he has genuine talent and runs hard which would suit the doggies.

Bird's been unlucky with injury the last couple of seasons, sternum injury and ACL.
He was getting back to his best before he did his ACL this year.
He'd be a good signing, even more so with Brisbane the paying some portion of his salary

How many injury prone certain starters do different teams have? That would be interesting... If injury prone is defined as, say, less than 15 games a season over the last 3 seasons. Dogs have Foran, and that's it right? Is that above below the norm for teams? Would having Bird, therefore two certain starters who are prone to missing half or more of the season, take us well over the average?
