Definitely showed something yesterday.
A few errors in defence is to be expected.

So now we have Hopoate, Holland, Montoya & Harper as the 1st grade centre options and the club is looking to buy another top 1st grade centre.

I wouldn’t classify Montoya or Holland as a 1st grade centres. They have had plenty opportunity and shown nothing. Fringe players at best

Six missed tackles is not what a coach would be looking for in a debut. He was in a winning side which papered over those cracks.Plenty to work on yet.

Strong debut. Makes the tackles well just needs to work on defensive decision making in the off season. Our coaching staff have shown themselves to be very good at teaching these young kids the defensive side of the game.
we need to stick with the same side except adding a few of our signings/future signings if any to the team

Overall he had a great debut game.. little concerned though. Saw Harper pass three times to the right and each time the pass was too high or behind the player and impacted the timing on the play. Needs to work on it over the off season.

Really? I thought Staggs took it upon himself to go at Harper. Harper did okay, could be better but definitely not complaining with that debut.

this exactly. staggs backed himself when he probably shouldnt have due to limited space... with Turpin and Boyd as his halves nothing was really created for him which kinda made Harpers job easier. Kid still had a decent game, but i need to see alot more in FG before im convinced
