Dean needs to have the team firing from round one next year. I haven't been a fan of his but if we go into the season playing a similar brand of footy as the last 6 weeks i'll be very happy and admit I was wrong.
Me too

Pay is probably proving a lot of the haters wrong with the teams back end to the season

Dogs will start season so much stronger next year.

We are on the right track moving forward.

Like it or lump it haters

Dogs are on the rise
Meh, u could also say we would be in semis if pay picked the right bench and rotations in north queensland the other week. Done this plus had our defence right at start of season and team should of been much higher up the ladder.
Baa lam was a terrible coach so i wouldnt listen to him. I hold my judgement, still think pays coaching is costing us me.
Said the same thing end of last season.
I think next year will be much same as last 2.
And not cause of salary cap and squad excuses bullshit,
They wont be prepared again u will see.

If dean can have the team Starting 2020 like the last 4 or so weeks of 2019 then as a pay hater I would love to be proven wrong !!! As long as my bulldogs are going well then it’s all positive ..

In fact I hope dean proves me wrong to be honest.
The mad Monday scandal derailed any continuity from 2018s end of season run...

Now Mad Monday has been flicked... We should see that momentum carry through to 2020

Oh, I do hope you're right. I've said the same after our late flourishes for the past three seasons. Let's hope fourth time will be true.

Pay still needs two key signings.

Hooker & centre

Walker + Rapana both off contract would cover centre position. RAPANA IN

Reynolds available for bench utility hooker role. We'd get him cheap if Tigers pay half or more.
From what I saw yesterday, in a major game for the Tigers, I'm happy not to have Reynolds taking up bench space when a younger, keener player has more to offer.

Don't be surprised to find a low life from the Murdoch liar stable stalking our players, trying to find a whiff of something for a sensational "Bad Bulldogs" headline- Mad Monday or not. Especially if a big name is rumoured to be considering joining us, and the Roosters can't match our offer.

I think starting the season slow is a sign of pre season under preparation more than anything. Our fitness regime definitely needs an overhaul.

Our defence has improved immensely and we need that same defence working from round 1 2020.

Our attack obviously needs work. I'd even look at bringing in a specialist DH coach to help JMK.

We can't afford to be off the pace again next year but we are on the right track.

I think what everyone on here is forgetting is yes we had a form improvement at the end of last season but that was with a squad of experienced players who were leaving us. Eastwood, Morris boys etc. We started 2019 not quite knowing who would play where in the halves and on either flank. Flip to 2020 we have every reason to be optimistic because we enter 2020 knowing Foran and Lewis are our halves if either not fit Cogger comes in. DWZ is our #1 and JMK our #9 we have played the last 8 games together and played well. We know Hoppa, Holland, Harper, Okunbor, Meaney and Smith are all options at centre and wing so we go in with real confidence knowing these guys can all perform and where their best positions are.

Roll on 2020 keep the good work going Bulldogs Front Office, Dean Pay and senior leadership group

We could finish next year undefeated and some will still find negatives. Pay is far from perfect but just remember we were even knocked back by Madge Maguire after he saw our books (thanks slimy Dib, Hasbeen & Grimace).

We really should’ve come last with our squad as all the “experts” in the media predicted too. I’m confident we will continue to improve and be a powerhouse again soon. If you don’t want to support our club and would prefer to be constantly negative piss off to the dragons

They are having a mad Monday mate. It’s just well away from the media this time. Don’t think the boys won’t be up to no good haha

regardless of all the dumb decisions pay made, for an under-classed side, the team unity and will to fight for each other is something we haven't seen for years.

he mightn't be the smartest coach, but he did get these boys playing for each other in a cohesive and hard working way that was pretty good to watch.

the club is definitely on the way back
