It was a good call to give him a debut today. He got a taste, he has a better idea now what it takes to play FG. Now he has pre-season coming up in which to show the decision makers whether or not he wants more.

He looked very comfortable tonight. He did his job and was part of a team that had heaps fight in them. Well done to Harper.

Had a crack so good on him. Hopefully he goes into preseason hungrier this year now that he's had a taste of first grade.

Looked comfortable in debut, plenty of aggression, can tell he loved it.

All the half wits saying he wouldn't handle it have got no idea that one game he showed more then Montoya and Holland yes he is abit how you going in defence but that will come as he gets more experience i been calling Harper to play most of the season he could be our long term centre and will only get better he got a big future and club recognised that with giving him the captaincy in Canterbury cup at his young age good win now bring on 2020
Another good kiwi connection :-)

He had a good debut but still has a lot of work to do. Hopefully we've now got a centre position covered, maybe it was a blessing that ramian doesn't have bulldogs dna

Didn’t staggs debut this season?
Harper wasn’t bad but to be honest I wasn’t too excited.

I feel like our supporters are happy with players that just do the job.
Hopefully he turns out to be a star but I didn’t see it

He was solid on his debut... Like all his other debuts... He needs to keep striving and work his arse off. Glad to see his hit and stick was on song last night and the leader within came out though he cant become complacent with Averillo on the horizon. Hopefully they can push each other and cement spots in the future.
