It usually helps out both clubs, as Sharks could be forced (depending on the player) to contribute to them playing elsewhere.
Yeah I know this, but if they cant offload them they're screwed.

All things being true then the sharks may sign him but the NRL won't "register" him until they can afford him under the Cap. That's what they did with us remember. If Ramien is signing for 500k and the Sharks have been penalised 350k from next year's Salary Cap as a penalty then the Sharks must clear minimum 850k for his contract to be registered. He (Ramien) is risking not having a contract for next year or having a much less contract being offered if the deal turns to shite! He's an idiot!

If Morris was to return, it would have to be considerably less than he was on previously.
We let him go mainly because of his exaggerated salary.
he wanted a two year deal, club offered him more more money to stay on but it was a 1 year deal. don’t see the club bringing him back now.

Old mate didn't mention the Dragons looking for a hooker.

Ben Hunt at 9 is nice. Def his best position full time.
He said they looking at A English half to possibly play hooker. There is zero chance of McInnes losing his spot, to anyone. Especially hunt lol!! The only way hunt takes McInnes spot is of McInnes broken leg gets amputated, and even then it will be a 50/50 call.

No he said the Bulldogs are looking at Hunt (or at least the situation) as a possible Hooker (that's what they see him as at least) option. Not sure what source, if any, he has for this.

The Sharks were allowed to sign Johnson last year when already over the cap. They then had to release nobody to compensate for the breach. NRL will let this bullshit go. Don't start salivating over who they'll be releasing to bring Ramien in. They'll just sack one of the locker room cleaners and things will be sweet.

For 500-600k it'd be alright (so Dragons contributing 600-700k). I don't think Hunt would agree to come here tho. He is 29 too. Tbh, I think just because that's how much Dragons would have to contribute, I just don't see it happening at all...
