Yeah. I like it but I was hoping it would be heavier. Also a little annoyed that they re-used many of their old riffs.

There are some similarities between some of their old riffs and some of the licks on this album, but there’s so much different snd new as well. Their overall sound has changed a lot and the riffs that are a little familiar are expressed in quite different ways.

They’ve always gone that a little bit.

The bass groove in the verse of lateralus is very similar to third eye.

Love it. Only listened twice so far but it’s actually exceeded my expectations.

7empest and Pneuma are the standouts for me so far

Max Cavelera did that with Soulfly 3.
He pretty much recycled old songs from Sepultura.

I remember the days when you used to have to buy $30 CD to listen to an album.

Thanks you YouTube, that's all changed!

I feel 85 minutes worth of music in 13 years isn't enough but I'm just glad to have more TOOL music. Fear Inoculum, Pnuema, Invincible, Descending and Tempest are all great tracks.

85 mins is like 3 songs in Tool language.
