Rugby league fan tries to attack Melbourne Storm star Will Chambers
A fan at the Manly-Melbourne NRL clash at Brookvale Oval has been restrained by police after trying to punch Storm star Will Chambers as he made his way up the players’ tunnel.

A Manly fan has been handcuffed by police and escorted from Brookvale Oval after attempting to punch Melbourne Storm star Will Chambers.

Chambers was sent to the sin bin during his side’s win over Manly when the fan lunged at him as he made his way up the tunnel.

There looked to be nothing in it. Chambers is an arsehole who deserves all he gets, pity the bloke didn't flog him with a wooden paling across the nose.

I believe Assassin is referencing many a headline attributed to us back in the day. The days of some random flares and stuff. I've only ever been to brookvale once and got to say, wasn't my favourite experience of all time. Dogs weren't playing. It was manly v warriors about 15 years ago and fmd, it was much more feral than I was expecting.

We can now wait and see how the NRL treat this incident. My expectation is they will stay silent because its not the dogs. But in fairness their should be a massive fine against Manly as is this not bad for the game. Is it not more serious for an incident to damage the game at an NRL game then at a private function. Dont hold your breath. This scum greenberg has his own agenda against us.

I'm ok with it Chambers is a one of the top 3 grubs in the game. Manly fan was pissed their season is over now, no top 4 and T. Trebojevic gone.
