I doubt its true but if it is it would be purely him trying to ease his conscience i say fuck him
I highly doubt he gives a shit about the Club or fans... No way his past is eating away at his conscious. If he comes it's for $$$ only...

Reni knows something...

Horrible decision to bring him back if this has any legs.

He had his chance at redemption in 2013... he can get get fucked now.

No way should we give him the chance to try and have some sort of farewell redemption story. He burned the bridges and then pissed on the ashes.

The SBW story is history for the Dogs, and it should stay there.

We need to look after our future.

Yet I watched that and got very little indication that actually knew something.

I agree. He could have come back at 28 or 29. He could have come back any time from 08-13 and been like sorry I fucked up. Let’s try make it right and re-negotiate a new contract.

But to come back 11 years after he left. What value will he add? As a mentor? You can sign him post playing career for that. His best years are gone and doubt he’d come back cheap. Still has value as a player. But he isn’t 2008 sonny anymore. And the game has changed too.

Plus he turns up just as we emerge from Salary Cap restraint and will have cash again.

Sonny would be an awesome investment for the right price. He will attract much needed sponsors. Lift the other boys and attract talent.. it's a no brainer for me.. As much as a lot are saying they don't forgive Sonny I'm know deep down there is a soft spot for him

I'd take him back because I know he's remorseful for what he did to us - however we all know it won't happen.
