Seems like there is a vast majority on the forum who get a kick and thrill out of the dogs losing instead of winning
And a minority who claim when we win it was all pay but when we lose, pay has nothing to do with it.

Pays lack of footy knowledge was the main reason we lost. He fucked up big time AND still had time to fix the obvious fuck up but chose not to do anything.

Until the dogs win 276 games in a row, some will never be satisfied. Some don't get the concept of a long term plan.

2 years is long enough to learn how to use the bench, no?
You can’t blame Pay, it’s impossible for that roster to beat a first grade team......... *insert sarcasm emoji*

Lol

Man, I get that he is a good guy, blah blah blah, but if he doesn't learn how to read and adapt to the game on the fly, then keeping him is not in the best interest of our club. If a real coach becomes available then the board has a duty to punt pay and sign the real coach.

It was obvious Dallin shouldn’t have played. My guess is Pay thought an injured Dallin and an out-of-position Meaney would go better than Meaney to FB and whatever numpty at wing. With Reimis out, that would’ve been big changes to whole back three.

Feldt owned Meaney last night. He’s trying hard, is safe under the high ball, and probably our No2 winger tbh (apart from having Dallin there), but truth is that won’t be the last time he gets shown up for not being a winger.

No one bitched about it when we won the last two games
Because foran was playing out of his skin and Lewis was keeping up. No need so it was acceptable.

But If Pay was watching the sweat dripping of forans head from almost the start of the game and the obvious signs of fatigue / pain he was feeling through his panting (particularly at the 30 minute mark).. . he should of interchanged him with Cogger

How was DWZ allowed to play?

Was clearly busted from last week. He was never fit. He was a complete non factor that game.

Every time he got up to play the ball he looked like a 95 year old man getting out of bed.

Why put him through that? He clearly wasnt up to it.

Meaney should have been at FB and would have been very very dangerous aound the middle.

That shits me no end. Clueless.
2 games to make the semis and we rest dwz? Imagine the uproar if we lost and dwz wasn’t there . Fuck this place is bi polar, we would of won the game . We scored 2 tries and 1 was disallowed, we’ve beat some big teams an all of a sudden pay is clueless ? Fuck sake go call beyond blue and seriously tell them
You got bi polar

Why are you trying to defend stupid coaching choices with irrelevant things? Cogger could have been brought on in the last 20 to play against an exhausted cowboys but Pay just let him sit there. If he wasn't going to play him he never should have named him
True. Pay has Cogger sitting there for 240 minutes in 3 games, on the bench as a sub, SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY as a replacement for Foran in case he goes off injured. Think about the coaching strategy in that!

A gameplan including that bench tactic is not feasible in today's game.

And if it is going to be a regular tactic from Pay next year...well...bugger me if Lewis is ever going to be dropped because he does the extra defence that should be coming from the bench.

Can anybody see another coach adopting this tactic?

The end result does't really reflect the game. The cow oys did defend well over the whole game. The heat got to our boys and we were at least level with them for the majority of the game Dallin's no try was just unlucky as it was awarded try on field and they show that he lost co tact of the ball with both hands. Pay probably should have used his inter hange a bit better towards the end of the game but i guess he was hoping the boys would get through. A few silly errors by lewis and marshall king is what cost us the game really.

They looked shagged up there in the heat yet it was third week in a row we've played with 16.
