Disappointing. We needed a specialist hooker but with his recent injury history we really shouldn't have offered overs for him. 450k would've been my max with Manly contributing some..but obviously that didn't happen.

alll bullshit api signed a month ago with the dogs , just took a month to come out :p

Hetherington will still be a couple of years off NRL and besides JMK we don't have another hooker on the books.
Api with JMK on the bench is a great hooking combo.
Yes I agree, they will be a great hooking combo, and JMK covers the halves aswell. With Foran injured so often, having another seasoned 1st grader in our spine can only elevate us

Was just looking at his stats. He's only played over 20 games once in 6 seasons.

If he's already signed I hope it works out for us.
The Manly Curse?

The funny things is that if the bulldogs supposedly stated that Ramien had to fit into bulldogs DNA and culture etc
I don’t know how or if any likelihood curtis Scott would pass the dickehead test

His own family kicked him or moved him out of syd for fear of losing him to crime or jail etc
Do you believe all the shit you spit out?

At 500K he is a bargain. But I suspect he was signed for a lot more than that.
I'm indifferent on this whole thing. I'm happy we signed a quality player in a position of need. Plus he's a great person from all I've heard...

But I worry about his injuries, I worry he's lost his attacking spark and I'm concerned of three years instead of two and the reported price they paid...

I just really hope he can get back to his early dynamic Souths form because he's shown he can be close to a top 5 calibre hooker when fit and firing.

Obviously correct and ... not telling
It’s left field
Another meeting once pay and team back in Sydney

Remember our ceo said 3 more signings left
We pretty much know the 2
Can I ask is the left field signing a back or forward

I'd rather JMK on the minimum and Fifita for 800k than Api for 550k and another mediocre fringe forward signing.

Hopefully after signing Api they still make a huge play for the likes of Fifita, Papenhuyzen etc...

I just hope potentially overpaying for Api and overpaying Napa etc doesn't cost us a legitimate shot at young stars.

Fifita pretty much said he’s staying in Brisbane.

If its Papenhuyzen that would deadset make us premiership contenders

It wouldn't surprise me. Either way we and other clubs should make him an offer he can't refuse, even with Brisbane's rorting. Look at what happened with Ponga... Newcastle would have pretty much been his last choice until they blew everyone out of the water with their offer.

There’s a article over in the general discussion and his manager said it would take something ridiculously huge to get him away from the Brisbane.

He's the rare type of player that clubs would be justified in making a ridiculously huge offer for. He'll end up being a bargain just like Taumalolo did.

I don't see a problem in using him as an impact hooker, say the last 20 mins to ignite the team to go another level. Have JMK starting hooker

He would be a great buy but it’s not looking likely unfortunately.

I rate him!! I want this signing to happen more than Ramien and Ese ese. I think a change if clubs can work well for him.
