Not having a go at anyone but can we stop with the Flanagan shit please the guy is a cheating, lying scum bag who is banned and may never be reinstated to coach NRL level again.

Cheated his way to a premiership with a team that was over the cap for years and still is. I don't care if he is a "better", and (I use that word loosely) coach.

He has shit stuck to him and I don't want him stinking up our club with all the work that's being done to turn us around. We are already a team that is highly scrutinized by media and others, Flanagan would give them even more fuel.

I’ve got no problem keeping dean for next year, but he’s got to sort out our pre season and have the squad playing like we are now at the start of the season. I still don’t understand why he left Cogger on the bench the other night, Imo if Cogger comes on with 20 to go we score some more points
I would start with Cogger, with Foran on the bench.
Bring Foran on after 1/2 an hour against tired players and let him rip in. This would also help he remain injury free.
Cogger is a good young player and would not let anyone down.

Not really, but there's no one really available now. He has to get the right performances in the first 10 rounds and I'll happily eat my words and get behind him, the time for excuses is over and if next season is another repeat of the two then he can piss off and changes must be made.

I don't like his methods but we are winning. It's just like the end of last season so yeah, let him hang around for 2019 and hopefully he doesn't mess with what was working again... also needs a better pre season and x2 trial games

The effort and success on field should be the determining factor.

Isn't it 2019 now or have I been working in the sun for too long?

He's contracted for next season, give him until halfway through the season and if the team has made significant improvement then re-sign him if the team hasn't improved then look elsewhere.
Knowing the dumb arses in charge it wouldn't surprise me if Pay has his contract extended before the gf or even sooner, which I don't think is a good idea considering the Hasler fiasco.

There is no choice, he is contracted and we are on a high. We HAVE to continue this into the start of next year otherwise questions will be asked again. There is no pressure right now and wet dreams aside our season has been over for months.

I am loving the heart we seem to have found and our team gets stronger next year. There are no excuses next year and I think it's a fair expectation that we should be aiming for a top 8 finish and play some finals.

Its a yes for me . He needs at least 6/10 to start the year next year. He has done a great job so far. Got a shit hand when he took over but slowly seeing fruits of his labour. Is he the coach beyond 2020 results should determine that. 50% of wins gets you in the 8. That should be the target for next year.

I'm still on the fence these end of season performances were similar to last year & look what happened for 3/4 of this season. Probably deserves to start next year but if the team goes back into a hole Pay can't see out the full year again.

If he keeps doing whatever it is he's been doing in the last month, be it opening discussions with Georgallis , letting Foran structure some plays with team mates reading " how to coach for dummies" .. Whatever it is he's doing right now.. Yeah why not

In the last 2 months we are in the top 4 of the ladder... I would love to make the 8 and see how far we can go... unfortunately the results are going against us... hopefully we can start next season where we left of this year.... Pay deserves to start as coach next season...

He deserves to build the team he wants before he is judged.

Fucking O’Brien... my Lord. I wonder if people would be blowing loads over Robinson if he coached Newcastle, Titans, Tigers, even us or Dragons.... the bloke has unlimited Cap ffs. He’s the Guardiola of the NRL.

There's little choice anyway. I was for getting rid of Pay not long ago but since our good run I've totally changed track. While he's probably not the smartest coach he understands our history and it now seems he can motivate at least. He's also slowly learned how to improve his team selections. At the moment we're defending better than any Dogs team I can remember (improvement since Hasler) and we're offering more in attack also that we did in the Hasler years so until someone better presents themselves I'm happy to retain Pay.

I'd be happy to have Pay coach us for 2020. It would be great and helpful for the team to have another Billy Johnstone calibre strength and conditioning specialist in his coaching staff.

Hallelujah brother. I don’t have to add a word...
