I think the difference that DWZ has made is massive. Hoppa has been a quiet achiever too. We need another class backline player to take the next step

It’s a bit bitter sweet in that respect even if we had won a couple more games before the run at the start of the year we would still be a shot at the finals.

He was good tonight, but most of our winning run in recent times has been achieved without him. He’s still and always will be an injury liability sadly.
Difference this year is we wont keep bleeding experienced players in the offseason and may actually pick up a good player or 2 and have a better side. Took us a while, and we still havent 100% recovered, from losing both Mozzes at the end of last year. We should start next season with a better side than we finished the year before with, which will be the first time in years.
Yeah, he did say something along the lines of 'we can't make the 8 so the pressure is off now'. Finals footy is full of pressure so Pay needs to make this team perform under it. He hasn't shown that yet.
