Who do we think is more injury prone, Koroisau or Liddle? :grinning:
Wow, thats rough.
I feel very sorry for Liddle after last night.
That was a freak injury and very unlucky.
I hope he is okay - Mentally and physically after copping another set back like that.

I agree.they should focus on api.we desperately need a Hooker.ramien I’m not fussed.ese’ese we don’t need we have some young guys coming through.api would give our attack much more direction.we need to shift some deadwood.fualolo.lichaa.holland.thats got to be 800k worth just there.i would be disappointed if the powers to be don’t address our hooking position as it’s been a weakness for too long.
@Nexus How's you head after this one? :tearsofjoy:

I'll be so upset if we sign Levi. Surely we just stick with JMK and go all in for Harry Grant. Even if we have to resign Lichaa for 1 more year, I'd rather that then being stuck with Levi for 2-3 years.

These guys aren't the guys you pay overs for. Api is good but he isn't going to get a run next year at manly so why pay overs. It's us or off to the most under achieving club nz. Ramien is a head case and when players at another club ban him from playing that says it all. He is going to be trouble. Sharks want him, let's offer xeri or the saints kid overs and force their hand.

Agree mate
If we can’t sign a decent hooker I’d rather stick with Marshall king till we do.

Lichaa has to go or play Canterbury cup on min wage

We better not lose Jackson

Guck I’d be pissed at the club if that happens

If Jackson goes it shows the club isn’t going forward anytime soon
Otherwise Jackson would stay to enjoy the good years to come.

Sharks are on a downward spiral

Surely Jackson wouldn’t go there at this stage of his career and the fact the sharks are beginning their own rebuilding stage

It's not that easy Jackson isn't worth getting into bidding war with now.

He signed his last contract as a origin and test player and now he doesn't even get mentioned as a selection.

He will have to take a haircut if he wants to stay.

It shouldn’t matter
Other clubs will now sign him as a non rep player also so will have to also pay under what he is currently on or pay overs.

And for our club, it’s not about signing him for his ability to play rep footy

It’s to sign him for his leadership
His attitude on and off the field
The example he sets and the standards he sets

The legacy he can create when he retires a one club man

The influence he can have on our future players as a part of our club in retirement after his playing days as a club legend and one club player

Like lamb despite his rookie years at the magpies

He is a bulldog legend
He was once signed as an origin and test player

Then he kept getting contracts once he was no longer a rep player

Jackson offers value to our club he can not offer to another club

We need to keep him

I think our opinions on his leadership vary quite a bit.

Comparing him to Lamb is a huge stretch.

Baa was kept around because he was still dragging his team to victories and premierships on one leg at the end of his career.

I was using his non rep selection as a barometer on how much his game has dropped off.

Would i like to keep him? Of course but let's be honest his form has been on a down ward spiral for the last 2-3 years.

If the Sharks or someone else offer him a bigger deal I wouldn't match it.

Has his game dropped off?

I haven’t really seen it drop off

He won’t win you games like baa did, baa was chief playmaker

When I speak leadership I’m not talking winning games

The cover tackle he made the desire
But more importantly his attitude and sportsmanship demonstrated when the tigers missed that kick

That’s an example we saw
There are other examples we don’t see day in day out on and off the field

And Jackson’s football is still up with some of the best and he is still good enough for rep footy

He is a must to keep in the squad in my opinion.

Jackson getting over looked at rep level is more about the crazy depth in the backrow

His game has dropped off the face of the earth!

He's lost all of his ball playing ability, he drops off tackles at a alarming rate now too and he doesn't run lines.

I just can't agree at all that his football is still up with some of the best he is a solid NRL player now.

Hopefully the club offer him a fair deal around the $500k range and a deal can be done.

I’d meet you in the middle

I don’t think his game is that much different than in years gone by.

The team around him isn’t performing either.
Bit hard for him when the team is on the back foot most of the game every game to play at his best

I agree as a player his value is probably worth that 500k you nominate

And I’d expect that if any other club offered more then they are paying overs

I do believe he has extra value to our club and well worth fighting to keep him.

Like I said, I’d be pissed if we lost him

True but also the fact other back rowers offer the ball playing ability that he doesn’t have.
