Yeah but I mean when he smacked that NSW player, the player didn't hit him back or anything. Of course the blue embarrassing them like that was very much something I enjoyed watching... up those cocky dirty cane-toads.
Andrew John's said in commentary that back in the old days you would have a guy like harragon who would just belt pricks like Chambers and sort them out real quick!!

I can't stand the prick. Eye gouging, stamping on ankles and hands, leads with head in tackles and more.. seems like he is constantly going in with malice. Absolute scum bag..
Along with Chambers and Hodges, my most hated grubs of all time

Here's the bizzare thing... off field he's actually a really nice bloke.

Incredibly respectful and polite.

It's like a Jekyll and Hyde thing where on the field he's Adrian Morley, and off it he's Christian Welch.

Kinda like he flicks the retard thug switch on field and turns his brain off.
He treated the up & comers at the Broncos like pieces of shit.

The playing group had a gutful of it & told Seibs & he was told to piss off. WB wouldn't have told him to piss off.

Heard that the Cowboys wouldn't put up with it.

He seems to have gotten worse on the field.

He probably squints because he has only vision in one eye.

So that explains his fondness of the eye gouge...wants others to lose their sight also....grub.

McGuire, Chambers, Burgess are all thugs. Normally cheap shots. Would love to see someone put a hit right on Chambers in Origin 3 that knocks him senseless.

NRL legend says Josh McGuire breaches Kangaroos' 'no d***head policy'

NRL legend Mark "Spudd" Carroll has called on Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga to blacklist North Queensland Cowboys forward Josh McGuire from selection, saying he breaches the national team's 'no ****head' policy.

McGuire was hit with a grade-two charge for working over the face of Brisbane forward David Fifita in Thursday night's loss to the Broncos.

The charge could see Josh McGuire's NRL season come to a premature end, this being the third contrary conduct offence he has been slapped with this year - both previous charges also coming for facials.

He could normally escape with a one-match ban with an early guilty plea, but the 29-year-old's poor record this season means he is facing up to four weeks.

Speaking on NRL Tonight, Carroll added his voice to chorus of condemnation surrounding McGuire's on-field etiquette.

"I've called him the human grub, because we can't have this in our game," Carroll said.

"In my game 20 years ago ... if that happened in our game we would fix him up. These guys are too afraid to get up and start swinging punches because they are worried about getting sent off."

McGuire first earned the ire of Queensland teammate Cameron Muster in round five against Melbourne, amid initial suggestions of an eye gouge.

At the time the NRL revealed obscured camera angles prevented them levelling a charge above a grade-one contrary conduct.

The Queensland forward was again in the headlines against Manly in round 13, where he smothered the face of Dylan Walker.

Lodge comments on McGuire

On that occasion no eye-gouging accusation was made by Walker, and McGuire was again hit with a heavy fine for a contrary conduct charge.

Ex-Maroons and Australia legend Billy Slater also weighed in, questioning why he felt the need to put his hand anywhere near Fifta's face given his recent record and reputation.

"It was totally unnecessary. He didn't need to put his hand anywhere near the face," Slater added.

"And if you're Josh McGuire even more so you don't put the hand anywhere near the face."

Cowboys coach Paul Green has previously defended McGuire this year, as he claimed the forward had copped "a bad rap" for his aggressive style of football.

McGuire is a dirty bastard no doubt. But 80% or thereabouts of tackles these days have the tackler putting his hands/forearms/elbow into the face or throat of the tackled player laying defenceless on his back. There is mountains of grubby shit in the NRL.
Also it is pretty rich Billy Slater calling out players for dirty play. He was the Prince Of Cats that piece of dung.

I see the guy as basically a criminal who’s good at rugby league. I don’t mind the cowboys, but it makes me happy that between them and the maroons, this crumb is having plenty of his loser meetings this year and not many winner parties

Bring back the biff!
Agreed, someone just needs to plant one square on his face and teach him a lesson. He's such a low life piece of shit.

I sure he would have copped one or 10 by now if they didn't have the "no punching" rule. Blokes don't want to risk getting suspended for it.

shame about the no punch rule, would love to see him try all the dirty shit if he knew someone was free to knock his teeth out. would love nothing more than to see someone hit him late and then give him a pat on the head while hes on the ground
I’d do it and cop the suspension happily.

I really wanna see mcguire, george and Sam burgess and gallen and fatfita get together and beat the living shit out of each other for the coveted title of dirtiest player ever.

I hate reality TV with a passion but would pay serious coin to see that
