How has everyone forgot Brad Morrin... best thing he ever did was munching a chunk out of Tahu’s arm!!

In all seriousness though tough call between O’Meley and Graham

Darren Britt offloading to Rocket Rod Silva, so many great memories. Also loved O'Meley running it savagely every hit up and Steve Price always gaining the extra 5 metres after contact.

Does anyone remember the time Peter Kelly got sent off very early in an Anzac Day match back in the mid eighties? So early, it was said he beat the bugler off. Hard as nails. Never took a backward step. With a few other tough forwards was the basis of our Grand final wins in 84 and 85.
Geoff Robinson, late 70s early 80s, wasn't all that big but he had a huge heart and every run was 110%. Crowd favourite. He take off for a run and the crowd would yell 'Robbo'. Prop or second row. Cant remember him playing lock but could have at some stage. One other not mentioned yet - John Coveney. Played a lot with Robinson including 1980 Premiership year. Kelly and Coveney both played for NSW at different times.

Barry Ward. Still remember at an open training session the ground announcer asked him what his favourite toy was when he was a boy, he answered "my dick" lol
“Bustling” Barry ward

He lives up the mountains these days and spends a lot of his spare time mountain biking around the trails and still looks very fit. He's a regular at Lapstone Oval on a Saturday to watch Blue Mountains rugby play.

My favourite Robbo moment was when Parra had a set move called The Wall in which 4 players would have their backs turned to the opposition and would go in different directions as Sterlo ran behind them. One day at the SCG Robbo just ran into all of them and left a few of them on the ground injured. He was a beast.

Thanks for the Peter Kelly and Robbo videos. Them were the days. We still beat Souths with 12 men for all but the first 16 seconds. Parra's wall - smash into the lot of them. Sure to get the sneaky ball carrier that way.

Played both second row and prop and was a Belmore favourite. Turned up one year to the end of season party on a harbour boat cruise and the security wouldn't let him on the boat because he shaved his beard off and they didn't recognize him. :-)
There was a myth too that he ate raw meat with Vegemite before every match. Of course as a kid I believe it

Yep. Agreed - no one cared about their paypacket or image back then, it was all about winning at all costs. And if you couldn't win, then bash your opponent.

Didn't they call the first 10 minutes the 'softening up period'.
