That's right a voluntary administration is where an administrator comes in and takes over the business for a short time and assesses its viability. It can go 2 ways. They can go into a deed of company arrangement (DOCA) and pay creditors x cents in the dollar and trade on, if creditors agree to it, or go into liquidation where they wind up the company where creditors may not get anything.
