Bevan French to Wigan

Parramatta Eels outside back Bevan French is set to depart the club & join UK side Wigan Warriors, according to The Mole.

The club has made an offer for French from 2020, but he could make the move even earlier.

The 23 year old will remind Warriors fans of former Indigenous fullback Matthew Bowen & no doubt become a fan favourite.

A re-call to the NRL under Brad Arthur looks highly unlikely at this stage. French has put his head down in reserve grade & worked super hard.

Playing at five eighth & fullback throughout the year he has amassed some very impressive stats. Unfortunately, these haven't been enough to see him back in the NRL.
