Mark "has resigned" from his position... after a meeting today with Peter Beattie.

Wonder if the NRL are going to fine themselves for a senior representative of theirs, bringing the game into disrepute and damage done to sponsors?
They wouldn't want to be seen as hypocrites, would they?
