So wheres Reimis, he pulled away from Dufty quite easily.

Poor Monty cant do anything right, even with the stats to back him up hahaha.
Its because its ridiculous to measure speed of players on highest GPS speeds alone.

They could hit this speed for a millisecond and the drop down again you'd need to see if they sustain that speed over a longer distance(50 meters).

Last year Nofoluma took a intercept against us and got run down pretty easily.

Top speed is almost completely irrelevant. Most players stretch out maybe 5-10 times/season.
Agility, the ability to change direction and accelerate, is impossible to quantify but much more relevant, and watching Montoya turn, puts me in mind of the QE2.

Corey Oates is one of the fastest players yet got mowed down by Josh Jackson last weekend. Don't believe anything from the Telegraph.

Oates is fast, it just takes him forever to actually get to top speed which allowed Jacko to get the right angle on him to make the tackle

He's probably clocked without the footy in hand... without it he's faster

First a Hoppa Stopper then our fastest player is Montoya, now I've read it all. All other clubs must be so envious of our centre pairing.

Remember when Holland was the most dangerous attacking centre in the game based off 5 games stats according to nrl.com

Would you include the speed of Meaney being driven backwards in every 2nd run? That could be the fastest speed recorded

1. Josh Addo-Carr 38.5 km/h

This translates to 10.7 seconds for a 100 meters. I don't think so, Rugby League players aren't that fast.

Did anyone watche the first season of Australia’s greatest athlete, the one Bill Slater won?
In the beach sprint Steve Hooker won so easily, he made all the footballers including Slater look like they were standing still.

Addo-Carr probably did reach that speed for a very short period of time like a tenth of second then dropped down again.

He actually looks like he’s running fast with ball in hand but then you soon realise it’s just an illusion by the way he so easily gets ran down whenever he’s in the clear.

Meaney left Nofoaluma in his dust last night and he’s apparently second fastest on this list!
