Agree he's been OK in recent times. But we can't judge him on the last few weeks, we did that at his last contract and look what happened.

We're just going to have to look harder and scout for someone with potential, I'd rather give someone else a shot than re-sign Lichaa.

Agree, I'm not for a minute suggesting we re-sign him based on 3 x 1st grade games and 2 CC games, we need a hard reset at hooker but only with a promising, young player who specialises at 9 (not another spare part player) BUT, for the right money he could be a decent back up, potentially more

Where did I say it would make Foran fit? My point is with Foran alone we look half decent. If you replaced him with 3 guys who have played Origin we would make a good team, even with Lichaa at 9.

Yes, he’s shown glimpses when off contract before, but I do think it was mostly his running game that impressed in late 2017. This time around he seems to have improved on his weaknesses such as service from dummy half. I actually think Hasler really messed with his confidence.... telling him not to play his natural game and run .... expecting him to play like a robot. He’s not a robot snd I think the pressure to be one caused a crisis in confidence for the guy. He’s shown signs in the last few weeks that he may be bouncing back from that.

I think he’s a better player than we have seen. He was a very highly rated junior prospect. He has the potential to become a good first grader.

Much prefer JMK at 9, he shouldn’t be there long term but I can’t have Lichaa over him. Lichaa’s service is too slow, can’t pass off the ground and has zero peripheral vision or ability to pick out defensive shortages in the opposition. He’s not only slow between the ears but also across the ground. JMK is much faster, can pass longer and quicker and may still have some upside.

Last 2 weeks Lichaa has been good/better, but we've fallen into this trap before. I think there will be to much of an outrage if we resign him to play as our #1 Hooker again.

Unfortunately looks like we can't attract anyone better so Board will take the lazy, easy option and re-sign him. Oh dear.

Sport is all about confidence. Once it’s been lost it can be difficult to get back. That’s just basic sports psychology.

I get that most people don’t want him re-signed and that is fair enough, but it’s premature to write him off as a dud, imo.
