Hey guys

Just heard Damien on a sports podcast asked if he enjoyed his time at the Bulldogs.

His reply was that he did and that we had a great side and that he did NOT want to leave at the time but that’s just how “rugby league works”

Was very interesting to hear him say that

Thoughts?

Another ~genius retention decision by the club.
No point lingering on his words though, doubt he'd come back.

He left over over 3 years ago now and anyone that was involved in him leaving the club has moved on.

It's well and truly time to move on and get over it.

Yup, we lost a great player.. failed to lock him down. Unfortunately that’s how it goes and we have to move past it.

What’s done is done..!!

Agree, it's really old now, like pining after an ex that dumped you years ago and still holding a boom box playing "Baby, come back" outside her window.

Move on people

Let's not do this to ourselves again. Its painful enough without constantly having to think about it. Especially when some are suggesting to re-sign Lichaa... I can't be near sharp objects just thinking about it!

Good to hear.
Cook has done very well with Souths and earned himself a big contract.
Hopefully we can get or develop a no. 9 that can give really good service from DH and get the team rolling forward making 60 to 70 meters a set.

That's the thing with Cook if the pack doesn't roll froward for him you don't even know he is on the field.

That helps buts it not just his speed out of dummy half, the guy is a testament to hard work and good coaching/conditioning/player development (all severely lacking at our club). He’s improved his stamina so he’s able to play 80mins in the middle and can throw a long bullet torpedo pass off the ground in both directions, how’s Lichaa going with that?

It’s one of the greater mysteries in NRL history how Lichaa not only made it to first grade but forged a 5 year career at hooker with his passing abilities.

Get excited!! In only 7 more games, crack out the champers and celebrate 100 first grade bulldogs games for Lichaa.

I expect weekend long coverage and a four hour Foxtel special after our game on the majestic lion that is Michael Lichaa.
