As bad as the boys played tonight a big reason was being reffed out of match. Surely the broncos weren’t so deciplined to concede what was it, only 3 penalties all game yet we were penalised left, right and centre.

Fatigue vs a massive broncos pack we got no chance especially with shit
Defenders like Meaney

I was at the match and can tell you the boys were talking and trying to the 80th minute. We lack class and set plays, but fatigue against a massive forward back due to a biased penalty count and lopsided possession guaranteed a touch up was on the cards

There has to be a way for the NRL to measure inconsistency like that. Maybe it is from hitting the ground to being allowed to play the ball - if you had duration times on that, you could expose refs showing bias. Problem is, NRL will never show KPI’s that expose ref bias.

We got 3 penalties, 2 of which were for foul play (spear tackle and raised knee), the other was directly in front. There was one set we shoulda received 4 penalties they slowed it down so much. When we were making decent ground too. I reckon we’ve won maybe 2 penalty counts all year if lucky...
