The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can confirm Sauaso Sue has suffered a torn ACL during the club’s victory over the Newcastle Knights.

Scans over the weekend confirmed the news which will see Sue miss the remainder of the season and be sidelined for nine months.

The injury occurred in the 26th minute when the prop forward was tackled by three Knights defenders.

The 27-year old will see a surgeon in the next couple of weeks to repair the torn ACL before starting his rehabilitation.

Not ideal, always like his runs off the bench. Should lock in both To'omaga and Ogden for the remainder of the season, having them come up against Haas, TPJ, Fifita, etc this Thursday could get the best out of them.

That’s unfortunate. He provides more impact than some of our other props.

At least To’omaga will get some more game time hopefully.

I liked him coming off the bench. Hopefully that means Ogden is playing for the rest of the season.

Damn. Gotta feel for the guy, he has played some pretty decent football of late. That's a long stint on the sidelines for anyone. Hope he heals up well.
Best of luck Sue!!

Silver lining could mean Odin is in FG permanently now.

I think we qualify for cap exemption now to replace him for the rest of the year? We may snap someone up now...

Ummmm no.

1. Cap exemption for injury is rep games only

2. There’s no one quality left on the market for the remainder of the year.

That’s just a kick in the gut, he’s been solid for us in a struggling dogs outfit
