Folkes said of mason in his early seasons, that he didn’t know how hard he was to tackle and the only person who didn’t think he was good enough was himself.
I think renouf has a bit of that going on.

He has always come across as timid in nature, I think he just needs someone to help push him over the line to get going.

He isn't being managed well imo, he needs a clearly defined role and be told to execute it so he has platform to build off, not every player hits first grade brimming with confidence...it also possible he might just be another player that kills it in reserves and never makes the step out.

It’s probably one of his better games. Not sure how he stays in the NRL

1st game of the year. You can say the same of wakeham.. Showed nothing to say he has anything. Really a bit like everyone except a couple of players.

Because when a player performs like he does in reserves then you do everything possible to try and get that out of him in the next level. I don't think the club has done enough, someone like Bellamy would either make him or break him and that would be that.
