Dogs are placed 3rd on ladder with a chance to reclaim top spot (at least for a day or two).
Knights are second last.

If we can't get the job done suitably this week we are a joke.

This would be the first game in years without any of the big boopers (Tualau, Ogden and To'omaga) up front.

Knights are second last.

The ladder never tells the full story in reserve grade especially with a game before the NRL side plays because you never know who is playing.

Spot on, promotion, injury play a massive part in who wins in reserves week to week

How does that make us a joke? We’re in 3rd place for starters, and we are missing starting halves, hooker, and props

Especially around this time of year with origin and rep games being played!

Because Knights are really... REALLY bad in C/Cup.

They are the NRL Bulldogs of Canterbury Cup.. with a similar record too.

Add to this they are missing most of their strike players in Hoy, Toa, Crossland, and Moga.

Danny F and Nu Brown dropped from Dogs NRL Lineup.

All below dropped from Knights NRL lineup:
15. Pasami Saulo
17. Aidan Guerra
22. Brodie Jones - named to start in second row in Canterbury Cup
23. Chris Randall - named to start in halves in Canterbury Cup (on standby for Mitchell Pearce)

Pretty sure they cannot play Guerra or Saulo as not named for them on Tuesday.

Yes they can the rules aren't as strict in CCup.
I thought selections were same as first grade? Hence naming all sides on Tuesday and dropping players 48hrs before the game. Or is it only a requirement to lock in 1hr before the game?

I'm guessing this game isn't televised?
Nope... as per first post. Next televised/streamed game is Round 24.

You only have to name the team a hour before. It’s only a NRL thing they don’t name the extra 4 reserves either. It’s pretty understandable with the amount of changes that happen in CCup.

Few changes to the Knights and their pack looks a lot stronger then Tuesday.

Looks like Moga will play NRL too.
