Signing contracts can be all about timing, as Raiders winger Jordan Rapana has learned this season.
Rapana is one of the game’s better finishers and was offered around $500,000 to remain at Canberra a couple of months back - pretty fair money for a winger.
But Rapana opted to knock the money back and test the market … and has come up empty.
What’s worse, the Raiders have allocated the money elsewhere - so Rapana will either have to take a pay cut or leave the Raiders.

Not wingerS, but winger.
One side is locked down by R Smith which is great, but the other side is a revolving door of squad players.
It's no wonder there is no consistency on this edge with the constant rotation (Whether its injuries or players being dropped).
I would like to have Oates at the club. For me he is worth the money.

Hopefully the clubs plans are to sign a fullback and move DWZ to the wing. You need to have a ball playing fullback in todays game. A fullback, a halfback to partner Foran (might be moved on, so possible a five-eighth too) and a hooker is what I'm hoping before 2021.

If just player vs player of course, but more to it then that. Rapana injury record not looking to hot either. I personally wouldn't want any of them on the wing for us.
