No until end of 2020......re-signed 2016 for four more glorious years...
I know he was contracted until the end of 2020 but was our deal to pay for every year of the contract? Was led to believe it was only the first year or two like Graham and Woods.

Well if we are to believe the press....

Mbye was squeezed out of Belmore midway through last year, but the Herald can reveal the Dogs are picking up the tab for about $175,000 this year - and in 2020.

Clubs continuing to pay part of a player's wage once they move on is not uncommon in the modern game.

The Bulldogs will pay close to $300,000 of Mbye's heavily back-ended contract with the Tigers for the next two years.

I could never see the value in him he for what he was paid at the Bulldogs. Signed up on potential and never delivered. Same at Tigers. Reasonable utility value but he hasn't been able to hold a place in any one position. To me he only brings frustration at not being able to deliver on potential. Not worth anything like what he is reportedly paid.
