So Wolfy what you are saying is..essentially that gay people..mind you not all..which already probably undermines your theory..will commit suicide because being gay means that they have a pre-existing mental issues that not only makes them gay..but more likely to commit suicide..? So it’s not to do with..the more likely scenario of being shunned, ostracised and abused..?
I think to test your theory’s merit..one would need to break it down..and look at the correlation between the rate of gay suicide and the environment they were brought up in..ie. loving accepting and supportive family and friends..as opposed to unsupportive family and friends.. I think then only then could you come to a plausible answer..rather then a speculative generalisation..
I think it is as simple as stripping the issue back to logic and evidence based thought alone, leaving the emotion based thought for another day.
The primary reason we exist according to evolution, is to breed.
Can't succeed at that with two members of the same sex, irrelevant how PC you desire to address the issue.
Thus based upon that, it is evolutionary illogical, irrational and unreasonable, cornerstones of mental health behavioural issues.
Another example of this is paedophilia (which in NO way do I support btw)!
I'm just glad that we live in a society where breeding is not as important and people are free to be themselves if deemed legal by greater society
