So is that England done and dusted??
No not yet but could be in trouble with 2 matches remaining against India & NZ.

They are currently 4th one point in front of Bangladesh who have India & Pakistan to play and 2 points in front of Sri-Lanka who have South Africa, West Indies & India to play.

Who’s everyone’s predictions? I think Aussies will be able to protect the trophy.
After this morning this looks closer to becoming a reality.....good call!

I think our top 7 should be:

Warner
Kawaja
Finch
Smith
Maxwell
Stoinis
Carey
Another good call....just swap Khwaja and Finch around and you're right on the money.....the top 7 that flogged the pommies this morning.

I wouldn't change Finch from opener.

Early wicket then send in Khawaja, good start send in Smith.

Kawaja bats way better at opener than when he doesn't open. He was our best batter in the Indian & Pakistan series when he opened. Finch and Warner though are killing it now so we can't change that tandem.

Kawaja in the World Cup= 30rpg.
Kawaja opening against India & Pakistan= 66rpg.

Behrendorff's ball for the first wicket and Starc's to remove Stokes were absolute gems.

Those first overs with England bowling felt like a test match

Good call, they are an amazing team when really trying to win.

When will Australia return to Pakistan to play test cricket.

They sure have some great bowlers and the crowd support they have away from home is crazy as well...
It is a shame that they can't play games at home and I'm not sure teams will ever head to that part of the world ever again.

So sad for their supporters in Pakistan maybe one day in the south of the country under heavy security it might happen but would you want to go if you are a player or team official.

New Zealand has an unfair advantage from the start as they get to sing their anthem twice, but not many know the first version!

Ay least we don't have to put up with their over performed haka at the cricket.

Its an oldie but a goodie:

What do you call a sheep tied to a lamp post in New Zealand?

And what do you call sheep tied to a lamp post with white foam coming out is mouth in New Zealand?

Straya on the ropes already

16/1

With Guptil dropping 2 catches

Started the game with 2 maiden overs. Bit of a nightmare start but lucky to have only lost 1 wicket so far.

Kiwis will win this unless either Kawaja, Mawell or Carey make a century.

How many chances have there been? This isn’t an easy wicket. If these two and the tail can scrap a few more runs together, NZ may find the chase difficult. With the exception of that blinder from Guptill they have been horrendous in the field. Hopefully dropped catches will cost them.
